Can my keychain get wet?
Your keychain is designed to withstand everyday life on your keys, in your pocket or in your bag. While it is water resistant, we do not recommend submerging it in water for extended periods. If your keychain does get wet, allow it to dry completely for 24–48 hours before using it again.
Does the NFC keychain work without the Contact Co. app?
Yes. The Contact Co. app is only required during the initial setup or anytime you want to update your information. Once your keychain has been set up, the app is not required for everyday use.
Anyone you share your information with can simply tap your keychain using their NFC-enabled smartphone, and your profile will open instantly—no app is required on their device.
Which phones can read my keychain?
Your keychain works with virtually all modern smartphones, including iPhone XR and newer and most Android devices with NFC enabled. On iPhone, the reader is near the top of the phone; on Android, it’s usually in the center of the back. For phones without NFC, they can simply scan the QR code on the front.
Is there a subscription or monthly fee?
No subscription is required. Every keychain includes one free function for life. If you’d like to share multiple things at once, you can upgrade to Premium or Elite in the Contact Co. app at any time.
Can I change the information my keychain shares?
Anytime. Update your number, job title, socials or links in the Contact Co. app and every future tap shares the latest version instantly—no need to replace or re-program your keychain.
